well, I've certainly been privy to the ''time of the month'' convos, but I kind of feel like the odd one out now, 'cause no guy has ever told me about any wicked awesome dump that they've taken!

Hershey's chocolate, the most common chocolate in America, uses a special method that produces a different flavor. Eat American chocolate, then eat European chocolate. COMPLETELY different. Not to mention that most milk chocolate is barely 25% cocoa in the US and dark chocolate requires as little as 35%.
Chocolate in its purest form is incredibly bitter, so going from American grade purity to 85% is just gonna be a bad move. I suggest you develop your taste buds with 50-65% chocolates before moving to the more pure stuff. Also, dark chocolate pairs very well with a nice red wine as a dessert. Just chill the bar, bite off bits and eat with a sip of wine. It's yummy, and great for couples.
I have to admit, I have definitely been corrupted by American chocolate. I went to a chocolate factory in Germany and I thought I was in Heaven until I got to the free samples part and got to actually try the stuff. I still haven't been able to acquire a taste for European chocolate. But I completely agree with the dark chocolate and wine combo...magnifico!
