Zero Punctuation reviews webcomics

Post by Paul Escobar »

Zero Punctuation is The Escapist's weekly video series where Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw butchers reviews games.

Except this week Croshaw doesn't review a game, he reviews gaming webcomics.

I LOL'ed.

I still find it neat that he mentioned Comic Genesis, it's like having a celebrity mention your hometown or something it's like "Ooh! Ooh! That's me, I live there too! Me!" No matter whether they're insulting it or not.

Damnit! I wanted to be the one to link that, but I ended up being away from the internet all day.

And most likely read that thread that saw lockage by Robin and insults by Van. Cuz it's the only instance of someone saying anything positive about a sprite comic that I can remember...

I would've liked this if it wasn't so much him basically telling everyone that he hates Tim Buckley and his entourage of crap like he says a lot as it is.

Which is in no way false, mind, but yeah. Beating. Dead horse.

Seeing the hat that his cartoon image wears and seeing your avatar, I'm not completely convinced that you're not the same person... :eyebrow:

that was indeed most amusing, and the mention of comic genesis made me smile and cringe at the same time.

I have yet to not laugh at Zero Punctuation, but the frame at 2:56 (blue-screen text) had me in stitches for a good five minutes... I'm glad I require a minimum of oxygen to exist, or I'd probably have passed out laughing. XD

I've heard Joel on the Webcomic Beacon, it sounded a tad more Australian than ZeroPunctuation.
