The Middleman moving to TV

Any other fans of this comic?

I noticed that they're adapting the comic for ABC Family. The creator, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, has been in TV for years as a producer for Lost, Medium, Charmed and Jake 2.0, so it doesn't surprise me that he'll be producing this for TV. I think it'll be great since the creator will actually be overseeing the adaptation, plus it's already got a good review!

The show starts June 16th.

like Watership Down and other cartoons designed by child abusers.
:-? Is this review some kind of publicity stunt?

Heh, I don't know, it is rather eccentric. Let's just say it's an online review of the show and leave it at that. :P

As an alternative I also read this synopsis, which has pics of the two main cast members too (Wendy and "the Middleman"). It is less eccentric.

I think Natalie Morales will make a great Wendy Watson.

Just wanted to bump this since the show is premiering next Monday. It's not every day that you have a comic book debut as a TV show y'know (popular as comics are nowadays).

I'd watch it then, but I already saw it after I downloaded it from iTunes, but I found another review from Variety (http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117937 ... =1264&cs=1) that found it enjoyable so you can decide whether to watch it for youself. It was very amusing and reflected well on the comic imo. Actually, I'll probably watch it again on Monday anyway. :P

I watched it. I wasn't bad actually. Sort of Alias meets Get Smart meets The X-Files. I'll keep watching. :)

This show didn't disappoint! The camaraderie between the Middleman and Wendy (Dubby) is so entertaining, but also effortless, and I can't imagine the casting being any better. The android assistant at the office has some hilarious lines too, and I like that Wendy's roommate had some screen time in the past episode as her character has depth now. The fashion design studio serving as a halfway house for succubi was hilarious! Can't wait to see more.

I saw it, and it wasn't bad. I particularly like the fact that the Middle Man doesn't know who he is working for ^^

I'll be impressed if they can keep the whole series this interesting.

It's always the little out of the blue shows like this and my soon to be returning fave Burn Notice that end up impressing you.
