It ain't over for Muhammad.

Danish Cartoonists still not safe.

I'm pretty sure that the immediate socio-political debate surrounding the Jyllands-Posten Prophet Muhammad cartoons has already played out. What strikes me is, even two years later, long after most things in our society would have been deemed no longer worth any attention, a few editorial cartoons are still inspiring some really strong passions. It kinda makes me think about how subtle and undervalued the effect of the drawn image can be. Our pen can certainly still be powerful.

Great story. The cartoon medium can still break new ground and this story shows it. Oh, and like the slogan on your signature. :D

I don't think it has anything to do with this view. This story has a lot more to do with fanatical lunatics.

And probably with a 1 mil. $ reward for the killing of one of the cartoonists one Mullah issued two years ago and most likely never revoked... :-?

I'm really getting sick of hearing things like this. Its called free speech, everyone has a right to it, but no one has a right to kill another person or destroy their property/peace of mind. I mean we catholics can take it (repeatedly in the bum) grow a frickin thicker skin people. Don't burn down my house for having an opinion that differs from yours and the chesticles to be able to say it out loud.
Ever felt like a little bug in a big world? Yeah so do we ;)
