chainmailbikini wrote:Ugh. Well I think I have officially screwed up. There is another older web comic called chainmail bikini already. I don't think it's updating anymore but still, I guess I'm going to need to change my name. Any advice on what to do about this? http://shawntionary.com/chainmailbikini/
edit: Oh and thank you for the compliment peterabnny.
I also wouldn't worry about it. The only thing that capital letter issue really affects is the Wiki which seems to be problematic for new members anyway.
As for changing the name of your comic, the best way to go is to make it big, become famous, and then sue the other guys for copyright infringement.
Alright, well I emailed the artist and author about the situation and told them I'd change it if they wanted to. I'll keep my name unless they say otherwise.
Hi peeps. Figured now I've got the hard part of page design for my comic out of the way finally (yayness) and a couple of pages in the buffering I would come in and greetz peeps finally.
I'm new, I'm 642 years old, I come from Galifrey and I I bring crackers
I hope everyone here likes tea ?

I only drink coffee, but... welcome to the forums, and I'm looking forward to seeing your webcomic at some point.

My name is Maddy, and I have a lovely little comic in development. I figured I'd join this community because a) it never hurts to get to know peeps and b) its a lovely thing to be able to get advice, etc from more experienced writers/illustrators.
Anyways, I won't talk your ear off (not here anyway), because this is just introville.
Hi, Maddy. Welcome to the forums. Our denizens here may be the creative vanguard of society 'n' all, but ultimately, we're just normal people trying to do stuff.
Except for Yeahduff. He's just a horrible, bitter old man.
