Let's face it, these are more like little impressions instead of reviews. I won't deny that a 60 second sound bite isn't gimmicky,
but hopefully the way I talk about these webcomics will convey how I feel about them... which is why people go to sites like this.
Because they want to know what other people think, or maybe they may find a new webcomic to read.
Well, for the most part, I review webcomics I like and/or feel are worth recommending for others.
That IS and ALWAYS HAS been the point of giving you MY two cents in 60 seconds.
So whatever, here is my next entry anyway:
Badly Drawn Kitties has been reviewed!

being pre-emptive, but also admitting what some of the more critical critics/ranters might call me out on. Might as well admit it.... i guess.

What's so special about reviewing a comic you talk about all the time anyways?

Do I talk about it all the time?
I don't think I had mentioned it much since when I first started webcomics a year ago....?
Also, to answer your question: To make an "official" entry for it.

Presumably at least some folks who're listening don't talk to you regularly (such as myself) and so wouldn't know that you talk about it.
Are we now getting into the opposite argument, why review something you like?

an EXCELLENT question!
I can easily answer with another: "Why review something I hate?"
It's simple: A negative review... or lets say, a review about a comic you hate... it COUNTER productive. If I hate it, that means I don;t like it. If I don't like it, that means I don't care if it does better or worse... but I probably would not want to promote it at all.
A review (good or bad) NEVER does any bad to a comic. If anything it INCREASES traffic. Why would I want to increase traffic to a comic I hate or dislike? Let people find it on their own and decide for themselves if they like it or not. They don;t need my help.
Now, on the hand Why review webcomics I like? Because there are enough reviewers out that that just rant about bad comics that, why should I as well? there' plenty of people covering webcomics they obviously don't like... perpetuating anger (to those who also hate it OR from those that like it).
Granted its not always like that.
But I wanted to cover webcomics that I like and would recommend to others. Now I'm TRYING to be more "Reviewy" and point out things here and there, but there's only so much I can do in 60 seconds... and I might do better, longer ones in the future.
In short, there's not enough people talking about the comics they thing are GOOD out there... just following a list of people that what you to talk about their webcomic.
I do the same thing... partly... I'll check out the list read the whole archives (for the most part) if I don't like it, or don't find I can recommend it to others... I don't review it. Most of the time I've been picking my own... or my own favorites have aready been requesting reviews
Anyway... i think I answered your question... did I?

The question was meant to be rhetorical/tongue in cheek, not taken seriously. ^_^ I think it's pretty obvious why someone would review something they like.

Just listening to one of your sixty second reviews, you seem to fumble over words once and a while. ( I know how it feels, very annoying x-x: ) Perhaps you could strengthen your vocal skills and do a couple of takes of the material? That way there may be less fumbling, and it would give you more practice too.

Not all the time, but definitely a lot.

But hey, does it mean that it started updating again?

This is a really good idea, I've listened to a few of your reviews and they are nicely made, and keep me interested throughout.
Keep up the good work

Yes, sorry about that. I almost didn't do one last week, so I guess I rushed it.

Yes he has, but as I said in my review, its almost like a Blogic, but at least he's getting some jokes out. The comics are now fairly in tune with his blog rants. I'm sure he'll eventually get some longer themes going again. I've wanted to review him before, but he had stopped updating.... which I try to avoid doing reviews for.
