Which "type" of comic do you prefer?

I, myself prefer humor, especially dark, edgy humor. And with epics, some I like, while others I can't understand. Epics I enjoy, I'll usually will read to the end! I think adding touch of politics to comics does some good.

So, whats your favorite type?

I think it's "epic" as in comics with a continuing storyline. But then, most of those other options can fall into that.

I guess I lean toward fantasy more than not, though there are a lot of bad fantasies out there.

If Epic means storyline then I go with having a continuing story. Otherwise I prefer mix like a humorous fantasy but I suppose I'd say fantasy would be my first choice genre.

I picked fantasy, only because I like both epic fantasy and humor fantasy... a combination of stuff.

Humor.

For more involved, longer dramic comic stories I prefer comic books or graphic novels.

I went with humour, because epics rarely work well with the webcomic style of updating. They generally last a chapter and a half and then stop.

The only epic I've ever loved was Life of Riley, which sadly, is no longer with us.

Humour strips for me.

But the characters, story and setting have to be believable and likeable. You can't just give me endless jokes told by cut out characters. I need something real in the strip to come back to.

I like story comics AND humour comics, especially story comics with humour. It's even better if they're fantasy.

I've put epic, since I've seen this worked together with fantasty and humour to end up with some great webcomics.

To be honest, I'm not a huge drama fan - and this isn't helped by the fact that I've yet to stumble over a good one. That isn't to say that a good drama webcomic doesn't exist, though...

I like politics added into webcomics - it can spice things up. However I find froth-at-themouth political comics abrasive. As soon as I hear someone rage about 'them' (which more often than not consists of everyone who doesn't share their particular point of view) I shut off.

Well, that's my two kiwi cents. ^^

I like any sort of comic with a sense of humor. I like random humor quite a bit, too.

I voted Humor because it's the only kind of webcomic I can actually read. If I was to consider printed comics too, I would not be able to pick one at all

For webreading the thing must be short and quick, otherwise I won't have enough patience or time to follow the story :\
