Wow. I don't want to read a review where you REALLY cut loose. :)

Today I rustled up review #3 on the seven day list, and it's Chain Bear! Take a look, but watch out for all the rusty traps! Oh, and if you scroll to the bottom, GOTHY is back! Yep, GothyMcgee, that rascally sortagoth, is now on Webcomic Asylum. New comics twice a week! Enjoy!

My writer is constantly crying for me to re-do our earlier stuff... but I refuse!!! I think it helps show how our comic has grown...

Good luck with the seven reviews in seven days!!!!!

This thread is both informative and non-gratuitous.

I can't tell if that was sarcasm or actually sincere. Hmm...... :shifty:

Hey Zwuh, I had no idea you had a review blog. You need to site whore more, duh! :) It's good.

Zwuh brings up a good point. We don't allow webcomic authors to create their own threads whenever they update their comics; why should a reviewer be allowed to have what amounts to a double-post-filled spam thread in GD?

:/

Um. Coming from a blog that averages about 0 comments per entry... this is just rife with dramatic irony.

Wow, it's attack Jack day over at CG! Seriously, people don't seem to comment a lot on any site I go to. And Neko, I never said I was that successful. Everything I wrote about are things I'm still attempting and feeling out, like I'm sure others are. And I'll stop letting people know when I update in this thread too if it's wrong to do so. But I started it as a way to get review requests, and that's still basically what it's for. I don't really see anything wrong with letting people know when I've put up a new review or new article. Man, now I just feel low. :-?

Well I think they're being kinda hard on you. It's not like you're flooding the boards with new threads or anything.

This thread has outlived any usefulness it possibly had.

Liar. 8-)

That was LAST month.

The issue is that this thread is basically a giant flashing banner ad for your work, not actually a discussion. Especially when all you do is post "I did something" over and over. A good site will promote discussion by its mere existence (perhaps with a very occasional prod).

I also have issues with review requests, but I'll keep that to myself as I'm in a generous mood today. :D

......Yknow what, I'll just let the thread die is that's what people want. I would really like to hear it from the moderators though. Man, it's suddenly a harsh place to be....I've got to grow a thicker skin to this sort of thing.

Well, I told you last month when you started posting questions both in Help and in GD asking for help with code provided by other sites, and your response was that you liked CG and preferred to ask us, rather than the proper people.

It's great that you like us. And you're not a troll or particularly offensive or a jerk - all of which is (also) great. But we would like it if you abided by our rules. Be a member of the community, not just an announcement box for your site.
