New review for Ted Pax! I might be in trouble.

I was thinking it might be good if you could review my comic, Cake (it's 50 pages), when it is ready for print.

I'm not exactly sure when that will be, though. Hopefully in a few weeks.

It's nothing against you personally Eve. And it's not that your writing is bad at all, it's the word selection most times. But I still love you!

I went back and edited my review with a few changes, but the tone is basically the same.

You saw the rant on my main page and that's why you changed it.

I hope you'll still follow this comic's story direction in time. It will get one for sure(I think).

Is that twice now, Eve, you've 'grizzled' about a review for one of your comics somewhere vaguely public?

And Jack, is that the second time you've gone back and 'altered' your review of one of those two comics?



Maybe I should drop a line to Comixpedia about using the negative sentence from a review someone gave me in their article instead of the many positive ones... I don't think that would work.

The only thing I went back and changed what the story was about. I just added a little to the description because honestly it was a little rushed and I felt that I should have spent more time on it, but I didn't change the rating at all. But I totally understand what you're getting at Dutch. From now on, my review sticks, no matter how perturbed someone gets.

Heck if anything I'd go back and make the review even worse!!!

Hey, back off buddy, I've got TONS of reviews waiting in the wings. Anyhoo, thanks for the backing-up. Okay, new review FINALLY up for Toy Division! Read the review, but if you're not an adult, don't read the comic! You may find yourself tingling in places you didn't even know you had!

I'm sure you've made Mimo's day.

But I'm not sure more characterization is necessary, I haven't read all the strips, but I think the whole idea is that it's about how amoral the characters are. Why they're amoral isn't relevant, they just are, and we're supposed to enjoy the show.

And I think if she added more compassion, it'd kill the comic. The whole point is the lack of it!

Yeah, I saw that too. I think I'm going to go delete that old blog. I didn't even know it was still up!
And yeah, the characters are lacking any morals but I just thought it would be nice to know WHY they were insane, but I didn't necessarily say it was a negative.

Yes, but what we're saying is that would make the characters seem more human, which would defeat the purpose of the comic.

WOW! Thank you so much for the review (I know you have a large backlog) .

It was full of very useful advice on the writing and "plot" . Most reviews I get focus on the artwork, which is great- but this is the first one that concerns the writing.

this is the proof that Jack has a good heart. Unlike some people who mumble about him making changes to other's reviews....
