Three months sounds about right. I can't get into my 2004 logs to be sure, but I think I'm at or close to my old daily average now.

Last year when I was updating, I was at around 3000 visits a month, which to me was freakin awesome. I had an ad on Sexy Losers though so I guess it was kind of cheating. Then I stopped for a year due to military junk. Kind of back, almost over 1000 visits for January since I finally cracked the 1 update a month barrier. >_<

I'm not sure how many people read my comic, but stats show that, even though I didn't update once in all 2006, the site had a daily average of 60-70 hits. Last month, I averaged close to 160 hits a day; although I check the site at least once a day to see if it updates and to read any comments on the shoutbox.

Not always Vort, I know a lot of people will just check back once a week or once a month if a comic is updating irregularly.

I am happy to hear this. Because this new EOI rocks me so hard, I cry out for seconds while it slaps me down and calls me "Muffin"

Yeahhh. Actually, I update irregularly, and make that pretty widely-known, but I find that my hits drop off really quickly if I don't update within five~ish days. It's as if people figure I've gone off into hiatus-land.

That's it, I am sending my comic to obedience school!

As a student, or as an instructor?

an year or so in my case. kidding. :D A few days. I don't have many readers, saddly and I don't have time to make publicity.

I'm in the same boat. Don't have too many readers and really haven't looked into good publicity yet. *sigh* Soon, though. Soon. Maybe then I'll have enough readers to go on hiatus. 8-)

That is a darn good question...
