This holiday, we tried to put my bro in a set of royale purple cordouroy(sp?) stretch, pants. Aka: We tried to dress him up as a pimp. Curses, our plan was foiled as we relized: He had a will of his own! NOOO!
Why do you gals like colour purple so much? And why do you like it on us?
Well, I personally like it for three reasons.
1. It's the colour of royalty. (A long time ago, purple dye could only be brought about by a particular breed of snails/slugs. Thus it was a rarety, and only the uber rich could afford it. Resulting in the royale family making a ban that only royalty could wear it. Evidently that decree has since fallen to the way-side.)
2. It's the colour given to the element of spirit. The more vibrant the purple, the more powerful a persons spirit is. Which is actually why my two main characters have purple eyes.
3. It's pwetttttty.

Why do we enjoy dressing guys up in it? Cause they fight us so much about it! Obviously if you didn't make a big deal about, we wouldn't try so hard. But you do, and it's mostly the fight that entertains us. We're girls, we're not supposed to make sense, it's an unwritten rule.

Anyway, that's just my opinion on the matter.

No one knows what peuce is, with the possible exception of Mike from Monsters Inc.

I'm not so much for purply purple. But. Boys in burgundy. Brings up a nice flush of colour on lots of different skintones. Lends that air of the ancient patrician, without having to go to goth-black. Looks warm and deep and touchable. Just sayin', guys might want to consider that. Just sayin'.

Oh, wait, isn't this the thread of "Lovely, hot, sexy menfolk"? I think I'm in the wrong part of the forum....

I think it's supposed to be spelled "Puce."

Also, as for my wardrobe, I wear jeans and shirts of bands I like. Most jeans are dark blue, most band shirts I wear have a black background.
I set my ATM card's number to "0001" because I'm number one!

OH I agree! Along with a deep coffee/chocolate brown, a deep cobalt blue-black and that deep sage-green--almost-black that 5.11 brand clothing has out right now. Rich color is lovely.

Most men have no since of color...that is why we girls must dress them.

And the ones who do have a since of color ususally want nothing to do with us girls.

I assumed it's a girly colour, but not in a sugary-sweet commercialised little-girl-who-wants-a-ponny way like pink.

That's fair, you think about too many things at a time, we think about one thing all the time.

yeah I agree with purple being a damn cool colour, purple and black is my favourite colour combination

had two different factions wearing purple and black uniforms in my comic, so had to modify it, burgundy and black for one, violet and black for the other

I used to say Red/Black was my favorite two colors, but that has since expanded to include Green and Purple, and exclude Black. :S

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chartreuse_%28color%29

Chartreuse is the yellow green but not yet vomit color.

But the best Wiki color page is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colors

what they call "harlequin" is just damned disgusting. I think "goldenrod" is the closest to vomit though.

Now, Tdot's already given me an excuse as to why they haven't post their's, but no other excuses have been given to me yet. ^_~ If it turns out you did post it and I just missed it, please let me know, otherwise the rest of you GET BACK TO WORK!

Yay to Linkara for organizing this whole shebang!

Boo to everyone who didn't do their arts! Except for Tdot, as I understand his situation.
