You know, if you put it that way, it explains why I want to bat them all over the head!
And we haven't even started talking about the story/writing...
The story, I agreee, is kind of... I dunno, silly. But that kind of makes sense when you look at MT's history. The thing stared as a humorous gamer comic, written by Gallagher's friend. After his friend stopped writing, however, Gallagher took over. While his friend may have been gamer, Fred's idea of a good time is reading shoujo m4nga and playing japanese dating sims. Plus, before MT started, he was working on a shoujo project called "Warmth."
Unfortunately for Fred, MT had become relly popular, so he couldn't drop it without a general uproar. He wanted to write serious stuff, so he tried to build on the basic plot with his own stuff.
But that didn't work out the best. In fact, the only person I can think of who's managed to turn a humor strip into a dramatic comic
well is David Willis of "It's walky!" fame.
NOTE: I am not an obsessive MT fan. the only reason I know this stuff is because my browser used to run MT's site really slowly. The only thing I had to do when the comic loaded was read the rants.

Some girl-mangas are actually good, yo.
But I think most of his stuff comes from books like AI Love You and Love Hina (Which are totally shounenish, IMO). Wish fulfillment, mebe?

Actually, I knew all that. I think that everyone does, except Dutch of course.

Though, as much as we'd want to, Neko's opinion doesn't represent forum's.
Dear god, someone would WANT that?!
As for PA and MT
MT went downhill because it clumsily tried to change from comedy to drama without the foundation to support the change, and his grasp of human anatomy is laughable at best; many of his characters look like they have Down's.
I used to dislike PA, but became a fan when the art and the writing improved about 3 years ago.

My money was on someone else, but yours might make more sense... or maybe not... I don't know!
I WANT TO KNOW.
Yeah, hate it to say it, but it's not Moo, cause...well...

best way to survive the forums is to sit back, relax, and go with the flow.

You can do anything if you're Zomboman. Anything at all.

I wish this was the 90s and that was my idea because you know people would have given money to Zombo.
Hell they probably did.

I all thought I was being clever by linking it until I realized that your exact words are in the script over there and you were likely one step ahead of me.
