*is amused that he's listed with only one of his comics, when he's got four up there*
:p
Though hell, wonder if I should even technically be listed at all, since I'm not the one DRAWING the pages.

Update on account situation:
The company I order my medications through blew my bank account up. Well, that's not technical jargon, but in essence they over-over-over-over yada yada charged me and sunk our bank account into negative funds.
We need at least a little positive funds to open a bank account. We don't use cash, so even the $1.00 to open an account is currently unavailable to us until tomorrow sometime when Beth's paycheck posts.
I'm pretty sure Washington Mutual is where the account will be. Only requires a $1 balance, with no fees. Not bad, and perfect for an account to store the cash from a project like this in.
So... we're looking at Friday/Monday for having the account up.

Actually, Jim hasn't told me yet which size would be better for him, but I'm gonna be sketching out my idea in both full and half page sizes to see which one works better with the text. If I can possibly make it look okay in half page format, then we'll probably just split a page so that one or two others could be in.

Gah! I hope this is enough notice, Humbug! The main character for this two page bit is actually going to be the Sorceress - there's pictures of her available for reference.

The giant, poultry-eating mutant hybrid mice? Well, don't forget to feed them first.

Update:
You will shortly be able to make donations; everything is in place, Cortland has to make his wicked-cool donation meter image and put it into the donation button code I sent him.

For the record and for those who haven't seen it yet, The Comic Genesis Sampler and the FCBD comic are two completely and totally separate and distinct things.
The sampler can be found here. Submissions are open.
http://forums.comicgenesis.com/viewtopic.php?t=77838
The difference between FCBD and the sampler:
- FCBD will have 10000 copies or so printed and distributed to comic shops on May 5, 2007. That is the last time the comic will be printed. The Comic Genesis Sampler will be available for download and NEVER OFFICIALLY printed. Anyone who downloads it will be solely responsible for printing, binding and distributing the book. The expense is yours. This means that the sampler can cost you more in printing and distribute costs than paying $50 for a page in the FCBD comic.
- FCBD is officially sanctioned by Keenspot and uses their resources. The sampler entirely voluntary, to be compiled, printed and distributed solely by the artists themselves. Keenspot has never put their stamp on the sampler.
Hope this cleared up some confusion.

At last, here is some sample code to produce a "progress bar" that you can click to donate money to the book via PayPal. I have a sample set up on
this page. It's fully functional, but I wanted to hear what everybody thinks before unleashing it on the world. I'll include some more information on this page to describe the book, list the artists who fill be featured inside, and explain how contributors' names will be featured inside a few special "donation" pages at the end of the book. We have a maximum of six pages we can use to sell advertising space or give away to people who donate to the book, which should be plenty of room.
What does everybody think?

I think it looks neat, but it doesn't go with my comic site's greyscale look, so I'll just beg for donations and give a link.
So... Can I start dumping money into the fund?
