Need some samples to link

And I thought I might as well throw the links in the direction of my good friends at Comic Genesis.*
Because it's easier than finding them myself.
I need some samples of good uses of expressions in comics for one of my tutorials. If anyone has a good example, it shall be linked. I need examples of...
1. Someone's expression is used to underline or reinforce what's happening in the comic.
2. Someone's expression used to add new subtletiesor layers to the scene.
3. Someone's expression telling a story all by itself.
4. Someone's expression providing a punchline.

Eh, it's hard to think of something like that off the top of my head... In fact, the only example I can think of is something that I may just be twisting around for the sake of shameless self-promotion...
But I think that this page might be an example of #1...

My artwork sucks, but I feel I can get expressions down really well when I want them to.
For #1 -
Shock/Horror/Surprise/Disgust (You'd be feeling all of these emotions, too, if you saw this):

this one?

My sister actually draws the comics and may kill me for suggesting any work from the beginning of the comic but maybe it will help others. It doesn't hurt to try.
For number 1.
I'd also try
this one but the characters were done in bitmap so the quality is lower :/
I love their eyes! Of all our characters they can give some of the best expressions.
I also like Keffria's for number 1. The blink and the bottom left panel really make that strip.
Lol, please use that suggestion for number 4.
Facial expressions help run almost eveyones comic. I don't think my comic has done anything to help with 2, 3 or 4 though

I'm not sure what it would fit under. Maybe #2?
But I think
this page of Zebra Girl has some very good ones. Specially at the end.
Also got to agree with Keff for #4.

I've been told I'm good with expressions.
Does the expression in this last panel fit any of those?

Don's expression in the last panel might be of use.
Also, check out
thiscomic. The art is simple but the facial expressions are really great, like
hereor
here.

I've been told my comics portray a lot of emotion. Here's what I came up with just from my stuff.
#1-
http://www.damn-the-man.com/strips/tb/tb04.html
#4-
http://www.damn-the-man.com/strips/tb/tb06.html (I meant for his expression to be the "Wouldn't you like to know kind".. according to some readers I nailed it. ^^)

I got some major odd activity on my tag-board from yesterday's comic, supposedly because Vrin (the woman) looked so damn scary/frightened/horrified. Don't know whether that'd be 1, 2, or 3, but the effect was very simple to do. Just a little gray around the eyes.

I'm not exactly sure what "subtletiesor" is but I'm assuming you're talking about adding meaning to a strip using facial expression. I've heard faub has been pretty good at this.
A
recent comic shows the kids at the table answering whether they can read and their faces have a look somewhere inbetween innocent and mischievious (I hope I've got that right)

Oh, for goodness' sake, please tell me people are just being smartasses -- he means "subtleties or".
How about the last panel of
this one for #2?

Hmmn. I have some expressions
here on this page that fit your criteria for #1 through 3, I think.
Last panel of this page is an application of #2 and #3 (they seem to go together, by the way.)
I have examples of an expression as a punchline, but there are always words, too. My comic's too bloody wordy.
