[edit] To actually respond to the post, try copying characters from other comics in your sketchbook. Try over and over until it looks right. Then try to make your own characters, with details and design, using what you've learned from sketching other people's characters.
OH MY GOD!!! MY EYES AND MY BUM!!! THE BLEEDING WONT STOP!!!!!! Nah, just kidding. It could be worse. Like stick figure, or sprite comics. I remeber a couple years ago, when it was keenspace. Before I started a comic.. I was looking around here for a comic to read, and there was a comic. It was just stick figure bodies,and triangle heads with faces and hair.
