Who's your favourite character from your own comic?

Post by K-Dawg »

As the topic says, who's your own favourite character and why?

For me it has to be Angry, he's tough, he's strong and he don't take no crap from nobody. I always find him fun to draw since he's always so grumpy.

ABOL. But I do like yuri because he's always working behind the scenes and can read minds.

After 7 strips, I should hardly be able to pick a favourite... but anyway:

IMO: I like working with Imogen, naturally, being the main character in the comic... One reason is that her personality is very much based on the best friend I ever had, so writing for Imogen and drawing her brings back fond memories - even though the actual happenings in the comic are not based on reality, and Imo doesn't even look a thing like the person her personality is based on.

COOKIE'S WORLD: From the three characters that have appeared, lil Cookie. But there's a future boy character that will certainly be my favourite later. I just know it. :D

From Philosophy Bites it's Ress, just because she's so insane that I can write basically any joke I want for her.

In Comic Creatorz it's more of a toss up. Dave and Dirk are both a lot of fun, but in the end, my favorite is probably Gustav. I love the way he just goes on and on about everything even if no one listens to him.

My favourite characters are Maudiah and the Wolf.

Our entire fanbase, however, seems to be hopped up on Habib love.

I'm not!

I like Blackaby - he's so casual about being evil. As if to say, "Hey, it's just what I am, and I'm cool with that. No big deal." :)

I'm a fan of Mike and James. Franklin is far too much like myself. I loathe myself sometimes.

I always like my roguish characters the best, for some reason. The witty, sarcastic, slightly insecure and emotionally unstable ones. I think I find them most interesting. For those of you who read Operation:NEKO, that means Hanabi.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

I don't have many yet... technically, and the character I like the most probably ain't gonna be seen for a few years

EDIT: take it back, favorite character = Sam, because she is gonna make me smile in a few comics, and maybe get me some reader feedback

Hm.
mcDuffies: Jessie, because she's so naive.
LWK: Malena, of course.
xxxx: Mulan, because she's easy to draw.

Probably the Otaku, just because he's so fun to write. Leiji comes in at a close second, for the same reason.

My favorite character from my comic is "The Noob". His scripts are fun to write, and his whole personality is naive, and well...noobish.

I've only really introduced two characters thus far, but of the two Bert is definitely more fun to write. Something about having a character that can do random zany stuff is very satisfying.
