Would this improv comic idea work...

I was thinking about doing a "Whose Line is it Anyway?" improvisational type of webcomic game. In this game, people would come up with random ideas off the top of their head. Once a random idea is selected, webcomic artists are then free to create a sketch or whatever that interprets that random idea in funny ways.
For example, let's say that the random idea chosen is "Elephantitis" (a type of disorder where certain parts of the body are grossly larger than the rest of the body). Then webcomic artists would submit an entertaining comic or artwork about Elephantitis. My submission would be a one panel comic with a man and a woman. The man has a REALLY big bulge in the crotch area of his pants. As the woman stares at this really big bulge, the man's reply is "I have elephantitis where it counts...". HAHAHA*snort*HAHA.
Of course, there needs to be kinks worked out like how would people suggest an idea and how an idea would then be chosen.
What do you guys think of this idea?

Oh man, my friends and I had a great elefantitis joke back in college. I wish I could take credit for it, but I can't.
Anyway, it sounds kinda neat.

All of my kids have elephantitis of the ears anyway...

I always figured that was because people had grabbed them by the ears when they were naughty.

The kids from School Spirit aren't naughty!!
I spend too long with naughty kids. Mine are just curious and boisterous and other ous words.

Eh. Elephentitus jokes are less funny when you've actually seen photos of men with elephentitus of the genitals. It looks pretty debilitating.

The idea is intriguing.

It seems like the compromise between jam and collaboration comics. You still have the open-endedness that jam comics provide, yet it's somewhat more structured without being overbearing.
If done right, it could turn out really neat

I had big hands and feet when I was a kid and some paranoic doctors suspected elepho... elipha... that thing. But my extremities stopped growing before I did so I only ended up with fancy big hands and a bit less fancy big feet, with which I can play guitar more convenient. ...With hands, not feet.

I always heard if a kitten has big feet he's going to be an 18-pounder when he's fully grown.

Not really, my cousin Marfield had these really huge teeth and he was no larger than 9 pounds.

I thought it would be a good idea!
Now to work out the technicalities of the idea, like idea submission and how is an idea chosen to be drawn...voting? Or is one person trusted to choose a really off the wall idea.

I actually did something like this over the summer...had a few friends give out a couple non specific concepts that I would then turn into a silly little comic strip. It turned out to be great fun and good practice to boot.
yeah...so I say go for it!
the more chaotic the better! Structure is for sissies!
Anarchy is where the cool kids hang out.
The streets will run red with the blood of the non-believers!

Also sounds like
an experiment I'm trying, although I set it up to work more like MadLibs.
Which might work...if only I'd finally get the first chapter posted
or gotten more submissions...hint hint
