what does liberal have to do with not having lots of plastic Surgury going on? Politics really don't have much to say about the cosmetics. I'm not about to argue with you about what berkley is or is not, but there are so many jokes about plastic surgury faces in Berkley I thought it was pretty much a given.

Ah well, lets not attack each other and talk rationally. You say that icons of misporoptions are not the cause of eating disorders, or low self esteem, but they add to the social ramifications? What social ramifications? How many men really find skeletons, with waterballoons taped to thier chests as hot? Sure maybe in the early nineties it was the rage. but these days... how many people make fun of Pamala anderson/britney spears types?

Most of the "traditional iconic skin and bones" are not well liked. sure there's the guys that do.. but they are so small, and its not about beauty as much as its about "oooh she's got big boobs" type of thought.

so really I don't quite understand the point that unporportioned women bringing girls down.

You do realise how wide a range of incomes there are that fit into the category 'five digits', don't you? Anything from $10 000 up to $99 999.

That's a pretty big bloody share of the pie.

yes, angsty, hopeless though at my obsession with women, and my response to every halfway attractive woman. Does anyone else get tired of it? The advertisers got me by the nads and I can't make them stop. That makes me angsty.

But should I blame them? I'm the one responding to it. I'm the customer. I don't have to buy anything I don't want to, but I look twice at anything with a halfway attractive (top or bottom) woman.

So is a beautiful face merely a symmetrical face? angsty. yes.

I can't remember exactly where I read this, and it's about pornography instead of advertising anyway, but apparently some guys are so used to the looks of the typical "enhanced" porn star that they find it hard to get aroused by a normal female body, like say that of their girlfriend.

That's a bit disturbing....

everyone gets what they pay for. they won't keep a real woman for long, so they are doomed to date and worse...marry strippeers and porn stars, many of whom are damaged.

I'm damaged but in a good way.

Yeah, nine times out of ten porn magazines are airbrushes to perfection, as are magazine covers. And though strippers are idealized in movies, I find it hard to believe real life strip clubs measure up.
