In case people don't know ladydarke and I are getting married on Halloween, roughly four weeks from now. To comemorate the occasion, I want to post artwork for the whole week.

Here's the details so I don't get any complaints about why you weren't invited. (Yes, I was thinking about inviting a few people, but read on.)

Ladydarke is Canadian and I'm American. You'd think she would be able to come here, get married and that would be it, right? Wrong. The US government is incredibly paranoid right now about illegal immigrants and that goes for Canadians too. If you're not rich or old, they won't let you cross the border without a lot of trouble. Ladydarke is neither and she has been refused (unofficially) entry into the US. If she tries to cross the border again, they'll make it official and she won't be able to cross for 5 years.

The wedding will be held in the Dominican Republic because it's neutral and we don't have to worry about the border guards. Consequently, neither of our families will be attending the wedding, much less Keenspacers.

Instead, what I would like is to have people give us a virtual wedding with all of you in attendance.

Wait, Canadians aren't allowed into America at the moment? So has America disallowed anyone from entering the country? Or just Canadians?

I've heard about plenty of problems with people crossing the Canadian border lately (as in the past couple of years) when it comes to marriage. So I'm really sorry to hear yet another person has fallen victim to it

Not that you can see much, but I drew us front and center beneath StrRedWolf's hammer. I've been drawing ladydarke as a chibi cat girl dressed as a goth, partly because she needed to look like me and partly because she has 4 cats and dresses as a goth.

She has long, curly black hair and hazel/green eyes.
