In honor of this dubious holiday, I will neither brush my teeth nor shower. Then I will adopt a squirrel and have it sit on my shoulder and call myself a land pirate. The next logical step then is to walk the city streets and ask for spare change. If they refuse, I'll slap them with my rusty spoon.

Talk Like A Pirate Day, eh?
I missed it last year.... I may have to do something this year.
Although my this-Monday's strip is supposed to be serious... I'll have to move it to Tuesday. PIRATES!

I wanted to be a pirate once.

Other things I'd like to declare passe while I'm at it: Ninjas, robots, monkeys. Please. No more.
I never did see what was so great about monkeys. (Nothing personal, K-Dawg)
Where's your sense of FUN!!!? Ninjas, robots and monkeys are the stuff of childish joy and adventure! Peter Pan was a Ninja, you know.

I hadn't really planned it that way, but my update day closest to the holiday features several of my characters in pirate gear. I just realized that.

I was planning to, completely forgot about it, remembered over the weekend, and put this strip up today. :)

I didn't do a special comic per se. However, the dialogue was changed to be more pirate like. :D

And flying ninjas? I don't seem to remember Peter Pan being ninja-esque in Disney's animated feature . . .

Well yeah, I guess he could be either a robot OR a ninja. Or a member of Metallica.
