Yeah. We're shooting for April 1 for this one. It seems appropriate. (I guess I SHOULD change that huh?)

Sorry. Next one, then. My comic will start the same date and I won't have enough to be worth advertising.

I'd really love to be a part of this, though I'm not sure I'd be able to make such an early deadline... So, we're planning for a sampler after this one, yes?

I'll have an archive again when we start Volume 3. Count me in for that one.

I might be able to pull myself in on this one... So you can expect a shining example of what sprite-like art can be when you put a month of work into it. =]
(I am starting to scare myself...)
[EDIT]
Despite my lack of personal comic updates, I'm going to attempt this not for personal gain and linking, but to try to prove that pixels does not always equal bad.
[EDIT EDIT]
I hope...

I'm going to have to go with Joel on this one. I just don't have enough up, despite my eagerness to participate. I'll have to wait for the next one.
However, I was wondering, as it was bought up... what is happening for free comic book day?

For all you folks planning on doing a page, some advice.
For the best appearance, go the McDuffies or the Esoterik way.
McDuffies just used ink. So it's all black and white. Hatching for shading. This prints best of all, printers are good at doing black and white.
Esoterik used grays, but they were solid grays.
Whatever you do, avoid gradients. Don't touch that airbrush, don't go anywhere near that gradient tool. And remember, red will come out like black.

Would solid black, like featured in my avatar, be a bad thing? Hell on the ink, I assume?

Aha, finally a moment when my utter lack of skill at coloring comes in handy. I knew it would be useful someday.

You realize that if nobody submits anything we'll have the same situation as last time. 6-months is a long time.
If you're thinking of submitting something, don't bow out because of the submission date. Make your submission anyway because if it's late, there's volume three. If not enough people submit by the submission date, the submission date gets moved back.

I'm in; I've got the time and the archive. I will only take two pages; I just need an idea with which to properly utilize them

.
Don't worry; I'll have something by the deadline. I promise. You can count me in definitely.

I'd really like to be in the sampler, and I will work to that effect.

Look, i'll start working on something for the sampler anyway, but i'm pretty sure i won't have it ready for the deadline.
So i'll eventually store it, waiting for the keensampler 3.
