I only noticed what happened when I went to post them here. Instead of having one 600x900 and one 3000x4500, I somehow ended up with two 600x900's. It was at that point that a few details that seemed small at the time came rushing back to my head, and I realized what happened. Alas, it was too late.

But thanks though. Since I'm an idiot, I might have something different and longer if this doesn't get filled up by the end of the weekend. Hopefully people will submit stuff so I could end these foolish pretentions and get some sleep.

So, I was kinda fiddling with some of the characters... Here's my "VISION" for the cover.

Feel free to ignore me. How about a flying V presentation of the characters with shadow stretching from them and maybe the Title: "Heros of the Sampler" above them with the tag line beneath them saying: "possibly with bears"?

Anyways. I started abusing everyone's characters and decided to stop before I got too far with my idea. Don't want to go throught the trouble of cleaning and lining and all if the idea turns out to be crumb. SO.....here's the charactures I did so far. Any thoughts?

I like the idea; they could all stand in front, and then there could be a background and something else big behind them? Not sure what, but I think that could work. Perhaps a bear? :p

That's good stuff. Are you expecting to make this a wrap around cover or just the front cover? It's probably too wide from just one side. You'd either have the characters lines up landscape or they would be really small across the bottom.

Well, I was going to make it fit the front.....How about I finish drawing and line it, and see what the dimensions of the people are before I answer that? And no fair depending on me either, people! I want to make a good cover, but if you got an idea for a better one, that would be kickin'.

How are you guys getting your pages to show up on your site? I have my pages in my images folder and type in http://endofthings.keenspace.com/images/pg2big.jpg , but nothing shows up.

Put it in another folder. If it's in the images folder, it will only show up by a request from your site or from the forums. That is, direct requests will fail.

It seems to be working for everyone else though. Speaking of which, I can see it when I'm using Firefox on my windows computer, or on my mac with the Safari browser. But not on Firefox on my mac.

That's because you're clicking a link for everyone else. If it shows nothing when you click the link in your post, press Ctrl+F5 or Apple+R to force a refresh.

It looks the awesome. I definitely think you should finish it as the cover... I would like to be included, though.

No worries...that's why I stopped when I did. It'll take a few hours once I have everyone drawn, but I wanted to wait to see if anyone else was coming too.

We're about ready to finish this thing! If you're still thinking about submitting something, don't this put you off. Keep (or start!) drawing. My submission doesn't count so as many as three more pages are available.

Anyone with other ideas for the cover is welcome to design something. Don't let catlegend scare you.
