If there is still room, I have 2 pages of a nice, depressing story that would fit in well...

With the cover done I could put 3 in or as many as 4 pages of Twin (from the newsletter). I'd prefer the max but it's up to FAUB entirely.

Two pages seems to work the best because it allows both pages to be seen together. Three was pushing the boundary a little. Four or more pages kinda takes over. If you absolutely need four pages, submit them.

Also, drawing a cover doesn't count for the number of pages submitted because you would be submitting two different things.

OK, I have the first two in the dimensions that you wanted but you never said what the resolution should be. The two I have are currently at 300, will that be OK?

Edit: You can find them here:

And here:

Let me know if these work out.

The huge image is great, but could you post a 72 dpi version so we can see it without downloading the huge version? (360x540) Save it as whatever you like.

I totally want to get in on this - and as I'm finishing finals now, I'll have tome to DO it, too... but I just want to double-check the requirements:

---
2 pages
3000 by 4500 pixels each
Avoid color & gradients
We can't use the word keenspace, or keen

And the content should be about your characters or avatar, but self-sustaining (ie, not an inside joke).
---

That about it?

It's avoid colour, and avoid gradients if you can. You can use gradients, you just have to bear in mind that they probably won't look great a lot of the time.

Post links to the large images. You can inline the small versions. Don't email them to me because I probably won't be doing the final compilation. Cortland did that for the last issue. His home account is a dialup account so emailing them to him will only hurt.

Okay, awesome.
But, as for the whole non-keen thing, is it cool if the character I choose to focus on in NAMED Keen? I mean, as long as it's not a DIRECT keenspace reference? Captain Keen took off from my comic a few storylines back, and I'd love to do a follow-up mini-comic with him.
(see comic below for an example)

If you think you can differentiate Captain Keen from keenspace enough then go for it. Since he's a character in your comic, I don't see a problem.

Woops! Probably should have done that eh?

Smaller versions are here:

And here:

They are bigger than what you asked for (600 wide) but thats just because I couldn't read it at the smaller size.

Here are the small ones. It is the beginning of a spin-off story at zorro and ester.

Then the big versions. I hope I did this correctly for everything, yell at me (loudly) if I did not.

I'm going to poke you with the proof reading stick. "I went later to apologize, but she never SIGNED on again." Also, you need to include your site and a copyright tag to say that you made this.

My stuff will be in at the last minute. Not because it will be done at the last minute, but because I will be without a scanner over spring break. I get back from break during the last week of March, but it will be done before the deadline.

As of friday this week, there are only two weeks left before the specified deadline of April 1. We have 4 pages out of 28. Anybody?
