Perhaps I should have been more specific... by "other people", I meant friends. And by friends, I mean female friends. And by female friends, I mean female friends that I know in real life and am fairly sure that they are not rapists.
Or am I being too picky?

I too am in the Quebec, but I have no idea how to drive to Toronto (plus it probably would cost a lot in gas and with no current job...)

Cheaper to rent a car than to get 2 bus tickets... ANd a LOT more comfy too...

That's the best way to do it. If all goes well (namely, if I save up enough to cover all my expenses), I'm sharing a room with a few other people. It makes for a lot of fun con stories, too, apparently.
I'm up for meeting there, for sure. ^^

I myself have only been to one, but that was CN Anime and I didn't actually go to the Anime "floor." It wasn't so bad.

I avoid anime and I've never been to a con. I wouldn't mind trying a con, but it won't be an anime con, that's for sure.

Well the con's for a whole weekend; why don't we all meet at the con one day, and the next day meet up somewhere else along with whoever doesn't want to go to the con?
