You get something a little.. sub-par too, huh?

Mine's not even drawn. Oh god.
*giggle* yeah, I got mine too.

Look at it this way. We're going to be able to out-creator the creator(s) at their own comics easily. ;)

Make their day. It's the season for giving and all.

BTW, what do you mean 'not drawn'? I thought they said no sprite comics this time round!

Then I can be your second, Komi! I always have time for more fan art. :D

I hope you didn't get mine. :(

And by the way, does anybody know how are we supposed to get our art to our targets without compromising our secret identities?

Speak for yourself. I got a decently drawn, well thought out comic. I won't be out-creating the creator on this assignment.

I'm glad I cleaned this weekend; I found all my art supplies.

I was mildly dissappointed, only because there were no pretty, effiminate men with long hair in the comic I got, but I soon got over that. No, I got a pretty good one, though TOTALLY different from the kind of art and style I do. Which should make this fun! Seriously, I'm going to have mine done tonight, I'm inspired!

But yeah, how do we send them annonymously? Or just wait and send when we're supposed to reveal ourselves?

Or create a photobucket account with a fake email and post annonymously in their forum? What if they don't have a forum?? PANIC!! RIOTING IN THE STREETS!

I got someone who can draw circles around me. Very intimidating.
But a fun challenge all the same.

Not only that, but it's a genre of comic I absolutely despise. I think perhaps next year we should be able to choose what genres we'd be willing to draw for. That way we don't have to read something that pisses us off or something.

In all honesty, no, Digital, I don't know what kind you meant. Sprite comics? Gamer comics? Superhero comics?
Sorry, I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but there are a lot of posters here...maybe a hint?---Al
PS. I got mine. I haven't the slightest idea what I'll do with it---it's definitely pretty different than mine---but nothing I can't work with, I'm sure.

It's not really limited to one genre, though there is one particularly problematic genre. And it's not stickman comics, if that's all someone can draw, then they should draw!
The particular genre that annoys me is the webcomics drawn anime style with anime style plots, they're not the only ones but they are the majority of offenders. It's a case of monkey see, monkey do. And they end up awful and unoriginal. How about one where the guy isn't a pussy and tells the girl he loves her outright instead of a hundred comics of tripe!
Webcomics are about originality! If I wanted a superhero comic about an invincible guy with umpteen dozen powers, why I'd buy a Superman comic. If I wanted a shoujo manga, I'd buy Peach Girl. Comics like Star Bored, The Jaded, and the Noob that you can't buy in comic stores (at least not yet).

True there is little originality left in this world, but dagnabbit, I want some in my webcomics!

Also, I'm not very good at articulating my peeves. Just gimme webcomics that make think "oo, haven't seen that before".
