How much traffic do you need to be invited to join Keenspot?

137 cars, three semi-trailers, a dozen motorbikes, two buses and a lost donkey.

Or you just hope that the people who run it like what you're doing enough.

Short answer:

LOTS of traffic, a constant shcedule, a large archive, the good opinion of the other Spotters and the goodwill of the Fab Four of Keenspot (the owners).

Obtain all that and you have A CHANCE to be invited into Keenspot. It is not automatic nor a given thing just because you're on Keenspace.

Keenspot invites people based solely on what they like / think will do well. Traffic isn't actually part of the decision at all.
However, if your traffic is high (IE you're on PL page 1), your comic might be brought to their attention.

You again... :-?

I think as you might have gathered from the reaction to your uh... previous plug in the Keenspot forums, you still have a long way to go.

Do a search for Keenspot/Keenspace in this forum. You find several threads going through the question.

This question doesn't really belong to the Help Forum BTW. I shall now relocate it to its natural habitat of GD.

I don't believe it's so much a matter of traffic. Being spotted has more to do with reliability and an earnest following, not based on hits, but on lots of people genuinely appreciating the work you do.

What do you mean by "you again"? you make it sound like i'm some sort of a pest.

Sounds to me like he thinks you are some sort of pest.

For most things involving selective membership, the general rule of thumb is that if you have to ask about it, you're never going to get it.

I was just curious, I don't really care that much. I've only had my comic up for about a month anyway.

One final piece of advice on being Spotted: as Martha would say, "When life hands you lemons, make a lemon and kiwi velvet souffle."

Why do you want to be on KeenSpot? Aren't we good enough for you? Uh? UH???

Fine. You go play in the golf field. I'd rather stay in the public pool with my friends. 8)

Dammit! WHY DOES THAT ALWAYS HAPPEN?!?

Just a note, if your gender is not rediculously clear, I will refer to you as a member of the sex opposite your own at some point.

If you have to ask you'll never get there. Sidenote, why do so many new people ask this? I don't see why spotting is so desirable.
