A Proposition!

Okay, earlier today, I spent 4+ hours reading a comic that was suggested to me. The guy who suggested it said it was really good and had a good ending.

Well, the comic was decent, but it was very negative and sort of depressing. Furthermore, the ending wasn't good. This made me depressed, and I actually didn't start reading another comic I'd been meaning to get around to because I was worried it would turn out bad too.

Anyways, my idea is this: a sticky thread be created in which everyone can list comics they have read (either ongoing or completed) and provide a short commentary on whether the comic is happy or sad/has a bad or good ending.

Thoughts?

You talking story-based serious comic or gag comic? Cos I don't read many, and mainly gag ones...

What?!?! Someone else has been making depressing comics?!?! That's not cool.

My tagline is even "The least happy comic on keenspace."

Soo... you got depressed because you read a comic without happy ending, even though the comic is good? And now you want to know about comics with happy endings so thaty you could exclusively read them?

Boy, you're gonna be dissapointed with life.

No, he said the comic was good. It was decent, i.e. decent writing and decent art, but it only focuses on negative things. And then it has a bad ending.

I'm already disappointed with life, can't I at least try to find some happiness in the stories of fictional characters? :(

The trick is: be such a great liar that you can even convince yourself that life is wonderfull.

My comic is, even as I type, in the process of ending. It has about two weeks left.

It's a good ending, I reckon... the fans had some input into how they wanted it to end, so it should be good.

What was the comic? I wanna read this thing. Or are you hiding its identity cause one of us did it? :P

I didn't say because
1. I didn't want to offend anyone
and 2. A bunch of people will inevitably say it's a great comic and I am an idiot.

Anyway, if you care, the comic is Avalon High

Did I say that I disagree with a lot of your quotes?
Specially the one about democraty.

But I like depressing stories... wouldn't give up on them...

Ok then, read Bobbing, it ended and as I remember, it never had anything negative in it.

I think the only one of us that has a comic that ended is you.
And K-Dawg. But somehow we failed to mention him.

I like sad stories. They're addictive.
Funny is good too.

You can't. They have quotation marks around them.

I don't think Plato could have forseen the evil that is the current U.S leader and his consorts (shudders)

*facepalms* This is why I HATE election years.

NO thread is freaking invulnerable from people turning the topic to politics.
