The problem, of course, is that the flat-Earthers kinda forget about the old shipping method to prove that the Earth is round.
If you go to the sea shore and watch a ship sailing away, it slowly vanishes from the bottom up.
On a flat Earth, the entire ship would simply reduce in scale until it vanished entirely; as it is, the way a ship leaves view is more in compliance with watching something go beyond a curve.
