*Holds up Kitten-named-Abbot with large, begging eyes*

Post by Christwriter »

Can I have some guest art please?

Blue Skunk is going to finish it's first story arc around October 9th. I want to take a two-week break before starting the next one. I'll link to you, first in the comic space itself, then on my theoretical links page as soon as I make one.

Would anybody like to help?

*Holds up Abbot*

*Abbot looks around with large, ultra cute, almost manga-eyes*

Tell you what, CW. Put up a picture of Abbot and I'll submit you a little something... ;)

I'm a sucker for baby animals.

How about a really cute drawing?

I HAVE a cheepie camera, I HAVE cute pictures on it I want to use, but I don't HAVE the cash to get it developed.*tries to decide if her mother, her mother's wallet or her unemployed self deserves a darker glare.

Well, post the drawing. But it just isn't the same unless you're tracing the kitten. And that's cheating, when you really think about it.

And difficult to do, unless you've, like, taped the kitten down or something. :o

It's not that hard if you use a dissection tray and pins, really.

More cat scan jokes?

And...well, yeah the sketches aren't as realistic as the photographs (and there's one I REALLY wanted developed like, yesterday) but they're still cute.

You get two (and the photographs will go up as soon as they're developed).

Ah, ruxen--you got time for it, and I kinda know how school goes now.

Half of the reason why I need those two weeks is so I have enough time to get the portfolio review requirements for the Art Institute of Houston out of the way. Ten drawings, all from life, all from areas I have sadly neglected. I NEED time so I can get the ten done, plus have a few extras to pick and choose so I'm not stuck with several horrific drawings that ought to be burned, not used to determine weather or not I get into art college.

(The other half was so I could do NaNoWriMo unmolested by guilt...not going to work)

Oh I know how much work and how time consuming it is to get a portfolio together, but I'm positive you'll do great CW!
Anyway, I'm finished. ^_^ I just had to finish colouring a few things..

Australia had a Tony Abbot and a Peter Costello together in government for a while.

The papers loved it. :D

That's why Abbot's an Abbot--he's got a big mouth.

Castello was too big for him. If I end up with another orph., I'll get a Castello.
