where do you find out information about going to the cons? I've been hearing about the big ones every has been attending this summer, but do you have to buy admission tickets in advance or anything? Or is is open to anyone, but certain speakers and stuff you have to pay to hear?

(I'm a n00b to the comic world) Thank God i'm wearing both shoes so you guys can't kick me.

When is the next good con in the US, i would love to go check one out.

Try a google search for the city you live in/near and the words comic and convention. It'll take you to a website I'm sure.

CON REVIEW! CON REVIEW!

ECTS is dead. Like Trotsky dead. The most exciting thing there was Volvo trying to break into the Real Time Physics world with a spokes person who had the thickest Swedish accent I had ever heard. Yes. It was bad. Bad bad. Got to see Resident Evil 4 though, that looked... meh. Camera's still annoying but it's better than it's ever been, which isn't saying much.

So after that I said "Screw this joint, let's go to the ExCel centre and friggin' do something"

Game Stars Live = Awesome. Seriously awesome. I can't wait to see it grow. It's split up the Trade aspect of these cons from the Playable aspect; GSL is the playable, lights, noises, brilliant side of games, while the trade show next door is the boring, technical side of it. A mate went to the trade show and I just quizzed him about everything I wanted to know about the industry afterwards, he also got in on all the seminar talks too, cost his company
