Sawdust turns 3 years old! (oh, and dirty pictures)

Post by JPSloan »

A modest request, and moderately qualified... Sawdust is one month away from its 3rd anniversary. As is appropriate, I wanted to do something fun for the turn of the odometer, and something that the readers would, ahem, appreciate...

Here is the official announcement and details!

Thanks in advance, and thanks for (almost) three years!

Well, here's hoping your computer problems are solved, just because they suck in general!!

But as always, you're appreciated!

Heh, every time I see this topic I feel like commenting

"Woah! You know future?!"

So, I guess there's no point resisting.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

I've finally got a supremely awesome idea for this thought up . . . now I just have to implement it.

Don't suppose anyone out there has nothing to do and might want to bung together a neat little link graphic for the jam?

Well, I'm basically just using it as a link from my front page, and possibly as the header for the jam page itself, so I have no specific size in mind... But as a header for the page, something longer than tall would be preferrable. Outside of that, anything's fine by me. Content-wise, it should be PG, but should be fairly suggestive.

and with my thanks!
