Updating times poll

Tuesday and Friday. Pretty typical reasons, really - blah blah blah, wanna have the weekend to draw one comic, and the weekdays to do the next.

Even though I do manage both updates (mostly), they're never on-time. >_>

Well... I update at 11:00pm local time, because I've found that maybe 90% of people update at midnight, and so many people updating at once causes a delay, so the comic will update closer to 1:00am. Thus, I do 11:00pm.
And I do Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (which I guess is kind of popular, which bothers me) for the simple reason that Lore Brand Comics updates every thursday and The Book Of Ratings updates every tuesday. Not really very good reasoning, but hey, I don't need -good- reasoning.

My schedule keeps changing... I started as Monday/Fridays because I had a good buffer. But as the school year went on I had to cut Fridays out in order to, y'know, pass classes and stuff.

So, Mondays at midnight, simply because Monday's the start of my week and midnight is when the day technically begins.

My comic goes up at midnight local time. It just seems logical to have each comic up for exactly one day and have no overlap between days and comics. I update daily because there's no reason for a cut and paste comic to update less than that.

Monday and Friday, at roughly midnight or at least before I go to bed. My autoupdater thinks midnight is somewhere around 2 AM, so sometimes I predate the file to the day before if it's actually finished by midnight and I want it up.

Good, standard days. Monday is the "Oh god, back to work/school - better read some comics" day, and Friday is the "Let's doof off at work/school and read some comics" day. Monday gives me the weekend to work on it, and Friday gives me the weekdays.
I've sort of settled into this as a happy medium. When I first started, I did seven small strips a week, and now I do two full pages.

12am... so that when weds comes around its there... at the first moment it turns.... ehh but thats only if keenspace is being good.

what Day: well Wednesdays are the print comic day.. when new comics come out so I thought what the hay?

I'm working on an every other day scheduale soon.... just need to get faster at drawing.

I've been updating Requiem on an every other day schedule.

I would love to update it more frequently, but with using Bryce and Poser to create the comic set design and character construction it really eats up my time. And then of course there is the actual time my system takes to render them out...

Hell, it would be nice to run Requiem as a daily, but with the way things stand currently I fear that it would be impossible.

I wish the keenspace profile had "everyother day update" as an option on there update but they don't So i just have to list as random updates... and hopefully the more intelligent readers will crack my riddle!

I update randomly. I'd try to fix a day of the week to post comics, but I know that I'd fail to meet half the deadlines, and I'd hate to be lying to my readers. Ehh, anyone who reads my comic knows I update just frequently enough to keep my ads on the newsbox most of the time.

I'm not sure what time I have my comic set to update; probably whatever the default option was.

I have no idea at what time my comic updates itself.

I update on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday because most three-days-a-week comics seem to be Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I'm trying to do readers a favor, now they'll have a comic to read every day ^.^

I think it's early in the morning, but time zones are complicated.

I update TTSS because my sister asked me to update on days when Nukees doesn't update.

as for the time it was a whimsy - the offset thing makes no sense to me and anyway over a period of a year it changes here in oz depending on daylight savings - so ranges between 5pm to 7pm. i thought it was meant to be midnight pst but apparently is 6am pst. bah - it's just a time!
the days M-W-F for L&Z to give me some equal time between updates. ditto for magellan.

Well I update at 1:00 am on Sunday.
I update at 1:00 am because it's a few hours before I go to bed and I have time to make sure it's up and everything is working right.
I update on Sunday because I get the weekends off and it allows me to spend Sat. working on it and getting the coloring right in time to have everything ready for my update.

You too? I think at some point, I just decided to update on Sunday. And midnight seemed appropriate, though my midnight is about three hours before Keentime's midnight... >_>
