Guys, we're all missing the point here!

The point being that I can and will sue anyone over anything, if I think I can get away with it and make some money on the side.

I'll start by suing Srdjan. His hott water is too similar to my hot water. I don't like it one bit.

And then I'll counter-sue Ghastly in name of Japan, not only 'coz he's making them look bad with all this "naughty tentacle" stuff, but also because he also had it coming.

Then I'm suing Chaos Cricket for slandering Pok

Each time someone gives new arguments - and not the ones based on gossip, but rather based on informations picked from firsthand or even based on pure logic - all you have to say is to repeat the same thing all over. What's the point? How can you even bother to type it every time?
I'm starting to get the impression that you're not really ambivalent in this matter as you're trying to give the impression.

Jop's example, posted for the purpose of disproving my point that the discussion was based on rumor and hearsay, was itsself rumor and hearsay.

I have not stated that I have no opinion on the matter -- and I would be lying if I had.

I just don't want people to make up their mind based on lack of information.

THAT said, I realize my error. Of course, people are allowed to make up their mind however they like. They are even allowed to give credence to things that I think are specious.

And hey, though it's important to me to separate facts, logic and hearsay, not everyone else has the same priorities I do. If they collapse the ideas, so what?

So, yeah, carry on.

But, you know, I'm also going to keep offering my ideas on the matter. And my main premise stands. Allow me to repeat it again:

The majority of argument on this topic is not coming from either of the participants, and is therefore BY DEFINITION hearsay, which is suspect.

You are welcome to believe it. You are welcome to believe that hearsay from a reliable source is the same as fact, or logical evidence.

Doesn't change the fact that it's still just rumor. By definition, if not intent.

Caution: I may say it yet again at some point in the future. Because I think it's an important point, and I think that some folks have just not seriously considered it.

because I didn't get to sue y'all over talking about pda rage! me, who spent $400 on a sony clie, and then a week later couldn't turn it on! the damn thing BROKE! and it wasn't even MY FAULT for once! I had to send it back to the factory via fedex, (who for some reason kept saying I hadn't paid them and 3 months later were calling me and I ended up paying an extra $20 in late charges another story) and wait a month for them to fix it, and by the time I got it back it was obsolete!

I don't understand why you're so upset and stuff. Let people have their opinions. Wether they are based on rumor or facts is irrelevant. We're not an angry mob lynching Scott. We're just stating what we think, and I just pointed out to Scott Kurtz how he could avoid that by letting the official story out. But he prefers not, probably because he's being advised not to do it, and he doesn't mind the hearsay. So why care, PDI?

The fact is that this story leaked out, and wether you like it or not, people are going to discuss it. I clearly stated that I won't do it anymore, because I feel this is not all that important. But let others do so.
