Damn, I fall under the RPG cliche and the elf cliche, but there's only one of them.
Though I accidently made a drow with two swords. I didn't know, alright? ALRIGHT? *sobs* I never read any of the forgotten realms stuff, I just thought a drow ranger would be cool :(
Drow are actually becoming a cliche in fantasy comics. Especially ones that are for some reason good and rebelious against their society..

Everybody does SOME cliches---for instance, I have a character who can do sf devices at a moment's notice, and knows it all---but that's the POINT of her, she's got an IQ of 794, at least part of the time. (Other times she has an IQ of 66.) And she has several enemies, but I don't know if anybody qualifies as an archnemesis yet, although Bloodlust is her most-often encountered enemy---but hey, he's only returned twice.
Hey, it's a superhero comic. It falls into SOME cliches, but I think also breaks a lot also. (For instance, having a mentally challenged other identity.)

Also, let's not confuse cliches with archetypes. Some characters, plots and various other devices just can't be avoided. The trick is to sort of use them as basic templates I think, and make them your own ... Not saying I've learned this trick personally. :-?

*blink*

Everyone here gets the impression that cliches are bad.
I like cliches. Campyness is cool.

I mean, even I have an elf in my story. She appears in two strips.
Of course, the way I am, I always try to trump up something, and in her case she's a lesbian and pretends to be a bishounen and hits on Samara.

Yeah, I always draw elves with huge ass ears.
It comes from watching Lodoss War when I was younger, so whenever I drew elves they had huge ass ears like Deedlit and Pirotess.

Incidentally, I don't think furries are cliche, they're a style. Then again, one furry character, just to be cute, in a non-furry comic, it is a cliche.

I often test drawing a furry. But I like to draw animals that are not often used, meaning, not cats, dogs, wolfs, but rather hippos, girafe's, etc.
Hehe, I have this female horse character drawn out, and she's totally hot. For a horse.

That's kinda weird, dude. And by `kinda`, I mean `really`. And by `weird` I mean `wrong`.

Why, well, aren't horses some of the most elegant creatures?
When Disney made hippos cute, noone said it's wrong.

Wasn't Record of the Lodoss War that one with the prince who's voice actor made him sound like a girl? Plus, he wore makeup, had long nails, and had the figure of one. That one was weird. Of course, almost all the characters looked female...

Nah, Parn looks masculine except for the eyes, but that's always been the deal with anime.

I had a furry in my comic during the purjo storyline...but I can't draw fur, so she only had whiskers. If fur makes a furry, do whiskers make a...whiskey?

Hmm..my comic is about anti-homophobia, so of course it has lesbianism XD

Has anyone mentioned Long haired boys yet, cause i have lots of them XD, so does every sodding comic on the net

I have a "student" character, but she is 9 years old and in primary school, so its not unheard of but at least shes not at university..she might have her own storyline pretty soon

A gay guy who is sexy and wears a vest..though he doesnt do drugs, go to clubs or listen to ABBA...

I also have ONE (1) Furry, but he is not really a furry because
-He's an alien, called a Felitron (from "Feline", meaning Cat)
-His race, and his planet (i even drew a map of it!) where made up by me long before i got into Anime, in fact long before i would even have been able to point out Japan on a map XD

Two comics make a reference to "All your base", actually that will be three when my next fan-strip goes up, but that was drawn by a girl from china, so doesnt count cause she cant speak english that well...

Jesus showed up once when i was still a christian..ugh, i want to put that "episode" of my life behind me...

I do however, have no goths XD

Erm..what things do i have other comics dont have...

Non-comics, such as fake (and real, when i'm being very lazy) newspaper cuttings, in the spirit of "Private eye"

Fat racist bigoted woman who hates everything and has short messy hair..oh wait "Lean on me" had one if i remember

Unnessicarily detailed cars..i put more detail into my Ford granadas than my Naked tinas...maybe that will tell you something XD

The characters talk/argue about cars a lot too

One of the main characters is a Van driver, when most webcomic characters are shop assistants, burger bar staff or office workers

The story is currently focusing on an extremely minor character that most readers will probably have missed unless i specifically pointed her out, her name is "Qeueing woman", though she'll probably need a better name soon XD

Nobody uses Magic..well medievil Tina does but i havent done any of those "Legend of felney" strips for ages..oh and i spell MAGIC properly!

Detailed documents showing where things in Felney fit in with a gigantic storyline encompassing just about all comics i have ever made (except the Final fantasy ones, The fourth reich and Teddy bear wars XD), and "cameos" of things from those storylines in Felney..despite two main factors
-Most of the "rest of the storyline" is comics i did ages ago, for instance the fact that world war 3 will be in 2020, which starts after a great revolution against opressive capitalist powers in 2014, is a very important part of the story, but the actual war itself is in a rubbish old comic called "The gun" which will never be put online (though i am planning re-makes, which are happening very slowly)
-NOBODY CARES ANYWAY!! XD
