actually, i was curious if any of the comics listed previously survived and, if so, if any of the authors were around on the forum at all.

Well since this had been revived now would be a good time to apologize. That comic I was arguing with everyone about.....Yah, it never got past it's first comic. Sorry everyone.

It's like a romance manga written by a very special 6th grader. Though I must say I have read 6th grade material that is far more coherent.

At least that one has a moderately decent pic... By webcomic submissions standards anyways...

Hmmm, there was a really interesting looking one there last week that had to do with pirates but it's gone now and I can't remember the name. Did anyone else see it?

According to the rules you actually have to have a comic to post; no text only and no fillers. I don't know how much they adhere to that.

Look, I don't see what's so difficult to follow about that description. It's perfectly simple.

Sid falls in love with the angel even though they (Sid is five people) don't know that he's the angel, okay? Kubai is the angel, but doesn't, no. It's a Sid! And him (Sid, five people) fall in love with each other. Tori (a Sid fangirl... maybe they're a band?) loves Sid but later on starts to like Stan (Sid's rival band).

It's a story about an angel, Kubai, who is an angel but doesn't. Much like in the Queen of the Damned movie, he meets a band who fall in love with him and adopt him as lead singer/violinist, hence, "It's a Sid!" meaning, "the band is complete!"

Every member of Sid then falls in love with every other member of Sid, thanks to Kubai (who doesn't)'s loving influence.

Tori, once a fan because of their cheerful spirit and easy grooves, gets turned off by the fact that they're not making any music for her any more due to too much time spent making music with each other, if you know what I mean. So, she starts to listen to an alternative band, Stan. Stan is a possibly Swedish stick figure who points to IRC microwaves.

"Killer Ink" looks promising.

And that angel one sounds like it was written by a retarded member of a high school anime club. I think a lot of those comics are written by those people.

NO! And why should they? They'll give up after 5 comics (should they produce even that many) because they aren't making Penny Arcade money by then.
