ah, you need to be careful when people say that someone likes you. It's better to hear stuff like that straight from the horse's mouth. I chalk it up to rumours because facts and stuff can easyily become misconstrued you know?

And guys can be annoying too. I get a lot of mixed signals from guys sometimes I should call it quits and dedicate my life to solitary confinement

That's really weird, silly girl ^^;; Maybe she just has crushes on people and when confronted with the real deal freezes up. You should talk to her and ask her why she said she had a crush on you if she didn't want to date you (tricksey people you know?)

Maybe she only had the guts to tell you AFTER the crush had run its course

Cause like, you don't just tell someone you like them without asking them out too. That's stupid! PEOPLE ARE STUPID.

And think of it this way, at least you now won't have a relationship where she says one thing and means the other... cause that can get really embarrassing ^_________________________________^

Cases of "doesn't know what she wants" are pretty common. I remember listening to a friend who just got hooked up with a guy previous day and now she was sure "he's not the right one" but she felt stupid to ditch him right away and without any more rational reason.

It's funny...once in my entire life, I have been told by someone in real life, straight to my face that she liked me. Unfortunately I didn't know what to say. If she had just said "let's be a couple" or "kiss me, you fool!" or "let's go see a scary movie" or basically anything, she would have been my first girlfriend. Instead, she just stood there and an embarrassing silence settled over the room. Sigh.
