Here I was, on this beautiful day...

...jogging on the park, and after the exercising, while I was sitting under my favourite tree, I started thinking about the fake guest strips Scott Kurtz did for himself, and I started to wonder if I could do the same.

Then I pulled my sketchbook out of my bag, and the results are a series of "if Alex and Ilia was..." spoof doodles:

I had so much fun doing those I was laughing with myself while I was drawing. There were some more comics I wanted to spoof too, like the old school Elf Only Inn, or Roughies, but I couldn't remember the style very well.

I think those turned out quite nice, given the fact that I was nowhere near a computer when I did them, and everything was drawn by heart.

some of them really bear little resemblance to the comic i was trying to emulate, but they don't look particularly similar to my usual style either...
i am highly proud of the IW! one though.
