Changing the General Discussion blurb.
Can someone with power remove the bit in the General Discussion description where it says plugs are allowed here? Just to save some headache and to make things simpler? Not because I'm a power hungry megalomaniac who wants all the plugs for himself?
Similary, the blurb on comic pitching says
"if you want comments, plug in GD"
while it should rather say "if you want comments, plug in TT&T"

You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."
"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Which is why, up until the point that the title is changed, that people shouldn't be bitched at for plugging here.
BTW: I've never minded plugs here. It's simple: If I don't want to read someone's plug - I don't. Who else here has such monumental self-control? Please speak up!
Anything else is like blaming the stove for burning your hand when you put it in the flame.
especially since plugging here gets flames that get out of hand.

Change it.
For the sake of any poor little newbie coming here for the first time CHANGE IT!!!
Even if they are too full of self interest to say something about themselves before plugging.

Actually... it's not that simple. Not here.Mr Ekshin wrote:It's simple: If I don't want to read someone's plug - I don't. Who else here has such monumental self-control? Please speak up!
Given the derailing factor here, and the fact that _lame_ plugs are most likely to cause a tottally off-topic discussion ("Will you kill me if I love you?" "Do you even have to ask?
"anyone?)
I'm not against all plugs in GD, but I am against lame plugs.

How about "All plugs accepted here. Unless they are lame. Go post those on Buzzcomix."
