Years ago (seriously, it was years ago) I mentioned that I didn't like porn in a rant, then a few months later I noticed alot of search strings to my site included 'porn' in them.

I've been getting hits for the stuff ever since. Kinda like a running gag.

I can almost imagine it:

"It's a year 2002. A guy looks for posn on google. He gets a link to a site. There's also given a part of text where keyword is found and it goes something like this:

...I don't really like porn anyway...

Where porn is bolded because it was a keyword. He thinks:

"Hey! There may be some porn on this site! I'll check it out!"

He clicks on link, gets to Jamie's page, reads some comics, dissapoints and then goes away.

Halfa' yeaf later, the same guy decides to look for porn on Google. Enters porn. Gets a link to a site. Under the link there's a text that might be going like this:

... so, those are my search strings. I don't know why everybody's looking for porn on this site. I insist that there's no porn on this site!...

And normally, a guy thinks:
"I'd better check out this site! There might be some porn on it" "

I don't know why, but this iseems funny to me.

The really funny thing is that sites like that are usually on page 60-something or higher -- I know, because I googled "final fantasy hentai" just to see where my comic was on the list, that it was getting so many hits ... and I never found it.

Some people are just desperate for a good porn site, I guess...

Waaaaaait, so is the moral of the story, "mention the word porn and/or hentai on your site, and you'll increase your hits"?

My numbers have been dwindling from 130 to 110/day since the week began, I must try something...

Or I could just update. That usually works.

When I start my comic back up, I am so putting the word porn somewhere in my site just for the kicks of dissappointing perverts .

But you know, I thought 70 hits was pretty darn good. My average is around 20, I think.

My daily hits are about 500-700, that and I think your comic diserves more recognision.

Pretty much, I've just added the word hentai into my header just to try it out for fun. ^,^ If it works I'll keep it there though.

By the way, I was speaking of hits not the unique views a day, then I whould have to say I get about 40-45 views a day.

The hair cuts comes from a drawing I did of Lexi with short hair. In the picture desc. I mention he got a new haircut and style. Ever since then I get all sorts of hair searches.

Yep, that's right. Somesuch isn't a very popular comic (most likely greatly due to the fact that it updates utterly randomly and not very frequently). However, it does appear that some people have actually been looking for it lately. I think I'm scared.

As for my own visits, I think I had a total of 40 for November, and only in the low hundreds for hits. I won't likely be able to get more comics up till after finals, which will probably set me back on the visits again (for a long while I was getting only about 10 or fewer per month).

Good, becouse if you got that many hits I'd be worried and start pluging you in a lot, ^^ couse hammy says so and feyenne rules.

I don't think your read that quite right, read it again and notice I wrote HITS and not VISITS ..... It'd help if you updated a little more often, I'm kinda waiting for whenever Rugg updates. *checks everyday just to make sure*
