But there must be something said for brevity, lest I become a tiresome buffon who bubbles up a lot of useless crap-posts to cover up my lack of social skills; turning me into an annoying wretch who can only piss people off. Then, once I have irritated everyone into saying critical things of me, I can claim to have intended such a result all along and bask in the illusion of control I have over my pathetic and lonely life.
There's quite enough of that behavior around here.

Well I have other e-mail accounts set up for other purposes where this type of filtering would not work so well, but my ghastly@tms2.net account is set up specifically and exclusively so my readers can send me e-mail. Since it stands to reason that my readers read my webpage and will be aware of the fact that they need to include the word Tentacle in order to get their message read this type of filtering has proven to be very effective.SamSim wrote:That's good thinking, but would take some serious implementation. A lot of official email might come my way that I'd really need to read, but I couldn't redirect.
Do you have an automated reply set up so people who send emails with the "Tentacle" header get told what they did wrong?
I suspect a lot of e-mail sent to me before was going unread simply because I couldn't find it amoungst all the spam. Now I get to read every e-mail sent to me by people who actually read my comic and pay attention to my page.
I wish for that too. Sortelli, your posts are great, and magical- they brought heffa back!mcDuffies wrote:Hm... Knowing you, I actually wish you would.Sortelli wrote:Everything Terror seems to say is pretty much spam, tho.

You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."
"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.
