Out of curiosity, are you talking solely about manga, or would you include anime in this little foree? If you would, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend looking at Grave of the Fireflies. It's anime, and it's a beautiful work of art. It's also the saddest movie I've ever seen.

Heh, thanks, SC. :-)

I'd throw my own comic in as an example of manga-influenced, but at the moment it's strictly a 4-panel strip, and I only have about 10 comics up. My art also has a long way to go before I'd go comparing it to actual manga. (The same cannot be said of SC's comic, however. Her drawing kick asses.)
