I didn't realize that was you!
It used to be at the bottom of the kung fool website, too.

Do you want manga or manga inspired? There's a big difference in quality.

A couple suggestions from Ponju.net:

http://www.10kcommotion.com/
http://xepher.net/~ghosthunters/

Both are very good technically. I haven't read either so I can't tell you a thing about the story.

Hmm... how do you tell the difference?

Basically, I'm looking to introduce a bunch of shiney eyed newbies who have just been recently introduced to the wonderful world of Manga and Anime to Webmanga.

BTW, thanks for the recommendations you gave so far- I'm checking them out one by one, those that I didn't already read, that is ;)

Oooh, right. As in Doujinshi, fanmanga, not official ones.

I'll suggest mine. Some people apparently think its worth reading. I'm working on redoing the beginning because it sucks until about the 4th issue. ( mostly because it is like 5 years old.. erp )

If you have bittorrent you might try http://www.animesuki.com/, http://a.scarywater.net/sf/ and download some fansubbed avis. I have no idea what most of the new stuff is so you would have to preview anything you got. You can try IRC too, but bittorrent seems to be the direction fansub distribution is moving.

Saturnalia is an excellent webmanga. Sorry if it's already been mentioned, and if it has, I didn't notice it.

Someone mentioned Special Generation Valkrie Yuuki (I think that's the title), which is a cute one. Definitely a parody, and in full color--cool stuff.

Trilokan 2 is just plain silly, and its artwork is the best I've ever seen in a webmanga.

I've started one, but I've only done so many pages--So I wouldn't recommend clicking on mine for the time being, haha.

Erm, not quite. I'm just looking for something original to show the people that manga isn't just confined to the typical Love Hina, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Chobits...

Anyone who's scanned the Keenspace Top 25 list should be familiar with Okashina Okashi - Strange Candy and Dominic Deegan. Both comics are heavily manga-influenced and fairly popular (Deegan just got upgraded to Keenspot), so while they are not favorites of mine, they will appeal to some.

Later...

Uhm ... I'll plug my comic, because I have no shame and am on a forced hiatus until my stress level improves ... so you won't have /too/ many pages to read through. And the artwork does improve ... I hope ...

Did anyone mention Tsunami Channel?
It's a well done webmanga IMHO... the only problem is that it has too many fillers!

Psst, you call all unofficial manga doujinshi, seeing it IS fanwork, how original the art and story might be.

Really? I didn't know that. Pardon my ignorance.

Like I believe I have iterated time after time, I haven't exactly been the greatest fan of manga, (I watch and read, but don't go crazy over it) but I'm opening my eyes a little bit more now, so maybe that might change.

Thanks again for the links (Faub, thanks for asking the Ponju.net people for me- I forgot to mention that earlier). I'm compiling the list... right now it's downright scary, the sheer number of them.
