we have to rebuild them from an old backup. It will probably take the
remainder of the day.

It's really unfortunate because I was one minute from sending the lost
information to the new server when the entire internet went down last
night due to a Microsoft virus. The virus has had a massive effect and
crippled the entire internet for most of the night - check out
http://average.matrix.net for some interesting graphs.

Unfortunately, by the time I could get back into the server, the hard disk
had failed completely.

We're at least operational right now, but it will take a few days for
everything to smooth out. Please bear with us.

Grrrrrrr..... I really hope they can restore from backups like they hope they can! ;_;

I bet the lost ones were all big comics. >_<

I'm assuming it's not schlockadmin.keenspace.com...

would it be siteadmin.keenspace.com or accountname.keenspace.com?

I really wish they could be more specific... I know that they prolly will be.. but oh well.... thank God my indextemplate is on blogger and i have backups of all else I have uploaded...

Don't worry, the accounts will be back up as soon as they can. Until then, we can wait aptiently, or start a mirror site.

Besides, think of this as time to draw more comics (not that I need to...)

Actually, it's just losing all those html files. The images, I can just re-upload those, no problem. Gah! Html... >_< But I will look in my temp files, thanks! ^_^

I'm pretty sure that's the case with lots of accounts. of course this need not apply to keenspot accounts as well as accounts with no comics yet are years old.
