So, our main subject here goes into hentai? Or ecchi? (because it's not really pornograph, comparing to what can be seen in other films?

Hentai is downright anime porn! There's so much of it in Japan it's hard not to miss it ^_~

Really? I would have never guessed. What with all the skimpy outfits that they make the characters wear sometimes, mostly girls, it seem inconseaveable to me. Just kidding. But why do Japanese have so much hentai and all that other stuff in their cartoons?

I must argue that panty shots, skimpy costumes, and nakedness don't constitute a "hentai". It's only hentai if there are actual sexual situations. And even if there is sex in something, it's not always a hentai. If it's all about sex, from the first minute to the last minute, it's <i>probably</i> a hentai. So you see, it actually has to meet a lot of criteria to be a hentai. 0_o

Wow. I seriously never knew that because then if it wasn't like that, Inuyasha could be considered hentai-ish. But it isn't even in the likely. However now it plays on the weekdays. So it's not on my viewing list anymore. Especially because I have school.

Watching dubbed anime is like.... the WORST thing you could ever ever ever do to it's creators (and to yourself). American voice actors SUCK. They're less convincing than day time soapie actors :\

And I can't even think of anything in Inuyasha to make it hentai-ish o_O

Hentai == pr0n, doesn't have to be lots of it just as long as there is some sex scenes but most hentai do consist of continuous sex
Ecchi != pr0n, it's suggestive or maybe even showing the odd bit of nudity but not related to sex. Best example of ecchi I can think of are Sakura Dairies and Golden Boy

One thingt I'm totally glad about out movie-distribution, is that we always tyranslate films with tittles instead of dubbing. Dubbing always spoiles the film, even if it's done good, as in Italy.

That is not a bad assessment, but I will not hesitate to say that there is no such categorization. Hentai can mean everything from pervert, to strangely perveterd. In the context of anime, it would most likely refer to pr0n. Ecchi usually means pervert, but it can also mean to "do it." Kinda like "making love," or something along those lines. Near as I can tell, there's no such thing as "ecchi anime." Nope. No such thing. I can see someone referring to a certain anime as an ecchi anime though.

I also must point out that echhi is quite a versatile word. i.e. That was ecchi, You're ecchi, Let's do ecchi, etc. etc.
