How'd you get your name from RO? Was it the name of your character, or something deeper?

The first time I employed the name Razi Oak was when I first played Ragnarok.

Long ago I did written over drawing. I wrote a series called 'The Project Omega'. It was an emotional war between heaven and hell with a young boy. It employes the 'Kin' belief system to a small extent.

The names of one of characters was Razi which meant, although this may sound lame, 'mystery'.
Razi was a red haired individual at war with himself.
Razi is Arameaic, one of the first languages of man. It can be either a boy's or a girl's name.

When I logged into Ragnarok I selected a pink haired girl. I gave her the name Razi.

I'm a firm believer that RPGs should be as realistic and hyper-orgfanized as possible...so she needed a last name!
I decided that her last name should be remeicent of her 'town' or 'village'. I live in Oakville. I liked its name, meaning and feel, (that of the tree as well) and so I became Razi Oak.

Its how I envision my game-self, much like Pirogoeth.

Razi Oak is now my official and indeffinate alias.
It is also the only name I could actually ever feel myself using.

So, yes; it does have a lot of meaning for me.

Back when I was a video game tester fo an evil three-lettered acronym game studio that makes a lot of Nickelodeon games, My lead tester on the "Power Rangers Time Force" game was named Razi, and he was armenian. (We called him "Raz" for short, as if Razi wasn't short enough)He was one of <i>the</i> coolest guys I have EVER met. Just thought I'd share; them memory makes me happy. ^_^ I knew him quite well, seeing as him, me and two other guys were locked in a room with no windows for a whole weekend. Yes, 48 hours. A whole weekend. >_< The hours and all the OT are the worst part about being a game tester. But otherwise, depending on who you work with, it's a blast!

I miss those days...

It's also odd, because my thief was named after a character ina book I'm writing as well. Her name was Malakia, and it means "angel" in Swahilli ^_^ You can read it <a href="http://www.geocities.com/kimicha_achine/">HERE</a>. Another odd thing, is that my book too, deals with a child and Heaven. (Ooohhh. Creepy!)
