Well I decided to try a new type of inking style. Since I have like 56 comics behind me to give me time to experiment, that's what I'm doin'. Here's a sample below, check out the site for a comparisson via the archives ^.^

Lot's better! Some of your early comics are almost impossible to read.

Yah, the inking is lots cleaner. Very nice.
However, you still have word balloon problems that detract from the readibility. Just give yourself a little extra space so your words don't get so close or touch the edges of the balloons and that will help lots.
Pretty drawing, tho! Wish I drew that pretty.

yeah, I'm gonna try to get the exact size and all that for my new font. I can't decide whether to use optimum in 3 /bold or 4 without, ag! Drivin' me crazy! The new font's easier to read than the old Impress one right?

Yah, it's nicer looking font, but harder to read at small sizes. I think bold smaller looks better than big regular for readibility and "cramability."
My font sucks ass. But I'm stuck with it because I can't seem to install any other ones!

How's that? You just can't download them, or you don't know how to "install" them once their on your computer?

Uh, more like my handwriting skills are pathetic.

There's some pretty good hand lettering fonts at bambot.com for free, and as long as your not selling to a syndicate or big comics publisher yet, they'll let you use them.

I have blambot fonts already for my computer. ^_^ Now if only I could install them in my hand. (Does that sound rude?)
I don't like how regular a computer font looks in correlation to how sloppy my artwork is, so I'll stick to hand lettering.
Now that we're done beating my feeble attempt at a joke up there to death....... how 'bout them Cubs?
