Ugh, really bad storm hit. Check out recent weather reports for San Antonio, Texas. Freaking baseball sized hail smashed a window on my car...

... that also means my power was screwed for awhile. No computer, lights, anything. I couldn't update my comic at all.

Is this... bad? And I mean, this is just after the first freaking strip....

Maybe God's telling you something.

No no, just kidding, in the world of technology, a bazillion things will go wrong. The first day my comic was up, the Keenspace servers decided to go down for most of the day. Granted, this effected everyone, but it wasn't everyone else's first day. Just hang in there, and it sucks about the car. Never seen hail that big, and I hope I never do.

If on the 7th update, your car is swept away in a freak flood, then maybe you should consider an alternate form of expression

Or you could use your newfound powers to draw comics, like, really close to your enemies. Y'know, death by comics. You draw a happy little strip, a giant meteor neatly flattens *just* their house. You could use it as black mail! Rule the world! I wish my comic was that powerful...

My comics weren't up until 2 weeks after I got my keenspace account. Keen went down for my first two comics. Shit happens.

Calm down and don't worry. You don't start pulling in "word of mouth" stuff for a couple of weeks. Being down right away is not a big deal. Personally, I'd use the down time to do more comics so you have a bigger buffer. And if it really is your first comic, just "re-launch" your comic once everything is back up and running. The first day of a comic, you won't have fans hating your guts for missing an update and never coming back.

Actually, you could use your comic drawing powers for good or evil. If you draw a metorite above your enemies houses, does it become real?
