I admit, my work isn't so great either, well, you guys be the judge. As you can see my early work really sucks.
If you want to see any decent work start at the story "Down the street the dogs are barking." Although I still feel that I could use room for improvement. I'm trying.

I just enjoy the fact that after seeing most of the 'spotters at the San Diego Con, I now understand why they all have to stick together and support one another's ugly butts. All the good looking people have comics on the 'space. Not that I'm being critical of the 'spotters looks...hehehehe...
------------------

Personally, I thought it was 70% funny and 30% over the top. But then, we all have different comfort levels of how much vicious assult is required before it goes from "Funny" to "Insulting" when you're doing parody/satire/etc.
I rate it "An honest attempt at humor with too much bitterness showing through." A couple of times I laughed, mainly about the butt drawing, but some of it I just shook my head because it was TOO antagonistic to be truly funny.
I went to his website and read a bunch of his comics. I think he has what it takes to make a living as a standard cartoonist..... decent art and a stunning lack of ingeniuity in his humor.....pretty much all his cartoons were rehashes of tried and true comic formulas. Make a living, but don't make waves, baby!
His art is pretty good, and his layout is professional..... but let's be honest. I'd rather read Dilbert, crappy art and all.
And if art is all you care about, I'd rather read NGTI or ETR or CCS or UA any old day. ^_^
"Nothing personal" indeed!

------------------

This is both relevant to the topic and a shameless piece of self-promotion.

I thought it was pretty funny. I haven't taken the time to read the entire group of controversial posts in which some say he was being arrogant yet, though. Biting sarcastic parody is one thing. Arrogance is quite another.
I laughed, though.
~dave

PDI that was a funny comic. I like when people make fun of manga 'cause I draw manga. Well that's off the subject.
Anyway I thought your how to thingy was offensive, rude, and @$#%ing funny. I don't know why but I like to read that kinda stuff. That was funny what you said about some Keenspacers comics looking like donkey diareaah, how you spell it? (Ack am I really a chick? Why do I think that gross crap's funny!?) Anywho, it was funny. And I'm going to try drawing with my ass as well. With my luck it would probably improve my art. :P Whatever... I ramble too much.
