Ever have one of those months? You know the kind... your colorist goes missing for two weeks, finally sends you a message and then goes back to ignoring you for another two weeks, your comics look terrible because you simplified the art so that the color would look better (y'know... shading and all) and then you get sick, and you lose the will to do anything and you finally give in for a while, and then when your colorist finally resurfaces (after about a month and a half, actually) of invisible time and tells you to cut back to three strips a week if you want color anymore, and at this point you've been just plain not been putting up strips? Well, what do you do when all of this happens and you restart your strip, decide to set it in a school, and then soon realize that you can't draw a school to save your life and no longer have /any/ idea where to set your story? Well, that happened to me and I haven't the most basic idea of where to set it anymore. Any suggestions? Well, either that or just kill me and get it over with.<P>------------------

Nope.
Can't say I know what you're going through.
But I definitely recommend death. It's a wonderful cure.

Haughty spirit and pride make for a wild roller coaster ride!

If death isn't an option (it's never solved any of my problems), you can seek out pictures for reference. If you're currently in school, look around you. Note how the desks look, how the chalk board is shaped, what's on the bulletin boards, cinderblock or wallpaper, tiles or carpet or hardwood, where the clock sits, where the student desks are facing, all that crap. If not, search the net. You should be able to find something. Set your story where ever it makes sense. If class doesn't make sense, try a space station orbiting the moon Titan.
Before all of this, though, take a deep breath, and realize drawing is supposed to be fun.

Well, now all you need is a time-machine, to go back to 2001 and tell that to ginrai.
