Would you buy from a Keenspace store?

For discussions, announcements, non-technical questions and anything else comics-related or otherwise that doesn't fit in any of the other categories.

Would you? If the answer here is an overall "yes" maybe we should bring the topic up with the management.
------------------

As far as I know, Keenspot already has a KeenStuff service on the backburner, as an alternative to CafePress. But if you're just talking about a store that sells Keen products, well - I really want a Keenspot and a Keenspace t-shirt.
------------------

hmmm that depends.. I think there's alot of comics on Keenspace that wouldn't be marketable, if only to the people who draw the strip and their families. On the other hand there are great strips like Chopping Block and Boxjam that could push merchandise out the whazzoo. I think if you had a Keenspace store open to everyone, it would get cluttered with Junk products. SO it would have to be focused on quality. If a cartoonist wants to sell his own stuff, then CafePress is the solution.-
------------------

Get any T-shirt you want for $3.50...
Go to office store, buy pack of T-shirt transfers. $1.50 per sheet.
Go to K-mart or Thrift Store, buy white T-shirt of some sort. $2 per shirt.
Now just print your design with an inkjet onto the transfer paper, cut it out and iron it on to the shirt. It's easy, they have trained monkeys to do this.
Up it for your profit and slap on shipping & handling and you got yourself a business... if your comic is popular, as said. If it is not then you can make friends and family cheap shirts to help pimp your stuff.
Tyler Martin

What's $3.50 in English money?
Personally I've never bought anything from the Internet at all (except a Norton Antivirus update). If I were to set up a store now I very much doubt anyone would buy anything. At what point do cartoonists realise "Hey, I think my readers should be able to get a t-shirt and advertise me to all their friends" without immediately condemning themselves for thinking that? So many questions.
------------------
